Because of the home’s layout, heavy machinery couldn’t be used safely. The DGI Waterproofing crew performed a careful manual excavation along the affected foundation walls. Once exposed, we conducted an extensive wall cleanup to prepare the surface.

Our multi-step sealing process included:

• Crack Sealing: Injecting and sealing all foundation structural cracks with high-strength hydraulic bonding concrete.
• Aqua-Bloc Application: Applying a premium elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane (Aqua-Bloc) to create a seamless, rubberized barrier.
• Membrane & Termination: Installing a heavy-duty dimpled waterproof membrane, secured permanently with specialized membrane termination strips to ensure water cannot bypass the system from the top grade.

Stopping water from entering the walls is only half the battle; managing the high water table requires actively redirecting the water away from the footing.

We installed a brand-new weeping tile system surrounded by clear gravel to facilitate rapid water flow. To handle the excessive groundwater volumes typical of this Innisfil neighborhood, a dedicated sump pump installation was integrated into the system, actively discharging water away from the property.

Overcoming Site Obstacles:
This project required delicate site management. Our crew safely performed a partial deck demolition to access the foundation, alongside a professional air conditioning unit disconnect and re-connect. Finally, the trench was carefully backfilled with native soil and machine-compacted to prevent future settling.
